Nest came to us because they wanted to make a huge impression at the 2015 DistribuTECH Conference. They had already rented out billboards and ad space around downtown San Diego, but they still wanted to go the extra mile to really ensure that their brand stood out amongst all the rest. Luckily for Nest, that is our specialty!
We branded 20 pedicabs with the nest logo and artwork. However, Nest did not only want the vinyl advertisements, but they also wanted all the pedicabs to be color-coordinated with their logo. In order to achieve this, we dismantled all 20 pedicabs and re-painted the frames powder blue. Then we installed brand new white upholstery for the seats and cushions.
The pedicabs were instructed to remain around the perimeter of the convention center so they were easily available to convention attendees, and free rides were given for 8 hours each day on behalf of Nest. In addition, our drivers were instructed to hand out brochures with Nest’s exhibitor booth number as a way to track the success of the campaign with regards to increased foot traffic to their exhibitor booth.
Our social media team was out taking and sharing pictures online, and as an added value effort we commissioned a drone to take video of the campaign and then put together a 2-minute video.
